Booking terms and privacy

The Trust Gap is organised by Iain Clague (Re-Humanising Work Spaces) and Graham Coath (A Better Way Of Life), in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University. Bookings and payments are managed by The Care Connector Network Ltd (company number 13416153) on behalf of the organisers.

Booking terms

  • Your place. Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete, or once a complimentary code has been accepted. You’ll receive a confirmation email.
  • Can’t make it? You’re welcome to send a colleague in your place at no extra cost. Just email [email protected] with their name and email address before the day.
  • Refunds. If you cancel by Tuesday 6 October 2026, we’ll give you a full refund. After that, we can’t offer a refund, but a colleague can still take your place.
  • Complimentary places can be passed to a colleague but can’t be exchanged for money.
  • If we have to cancel. If the event is cancelled or moved for any reason, you’ll get a full refund.

How we use your details

The Care Connector Network Ltd is responsible for looking after the personal details you give us when you book.

  • What we collect. Your name, contact details, job title, organisation and sector, any dietary or accessibility needs you tell us about, how you heard about the event, and your booking and payment record.
  • Why. To manage your booking, keep you updated about the day, meet your dietary and access needs, and understand how people found out about the event.
  • Who sees it. Only Iain, Graham and Glasgow Caledonian University. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone else. Our booking system and our card payment provider (Stripe) hold your details only so they can process your booking and payment. We never see or store your full card details.
  • What’s said on the day. Conversations in the room are treated as confidential. We may use general themes and learning from the day, with no names and nothing that could identify you or your organisation, to shape the Glasgow Caledonian University student workshop and improve future events.
  • Photos, quotes and social media. We won’t use your name, photo, comments or any other personal details in social media posts, marketing or publicity without first asking for, and getting, your permission. If photos are taken on the day and you’d rather not appear in them, just let us know.
  • Marketing emails. We’ll only send you news about future events if you tick the box to say yes. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • How long we keep it. Booking details are kept for up to 12 months after the event and then deleted, apart from records we must keep for tax, or details for future events if you’ve asked to hear about them.
  • Your rights. You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. Email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
